P is for Potato

I absolutely love anything that is made with potatoes. Literally would order for dinner, plates of french fries as the wild child that I was. So naturally when my girlfriend Genny told me about a quick and easy way to make red potatoes I jumped at the chance to make them.

1) Chop up potatoes into small wedges and then place onto baking sheet and season with basil, salt, pepper, and olive oil.

2) Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and set a timer for 20 minutes.

3) After the 20 minutes are up, set the oven for broil and reset the timer for 5 minutes.

4) Place the potatoes into a frying pan with olive oil and crisp the edges until slightly brown.

5) Cool off and enjoy!

Peppermints and Incense

So today I went shopping and picked up a few cool things at Forever21.

I got this cool black top, leggings, necklace (which I've now broken, thats what I get for wearing costume jewelry but it was a glorious two hours that I got to wear it) and the shoes. Now the shoes, I know they are a little out there but it was something that I saw down the runway this fall season and I needed them.

I cannot wait I have a pair of Leather Shorts coming within the next week that I got off of Nasty Gal. they are super chic and AMAZING. I will post pics when I get them!

FRIENDS LOOK!

Topshop Tank American Eagle Jacket

Corduroy Pants Cabellas Belt Birkenstock Clogs

This look is inspired by the 90's show Friends. I absolutely love the fashion choices for each of the female characters in the show. This time I decided to base an outfit off of Monica in the episode " The one with the truth about London." Maybe I'll make this a weekly thing...

we used:
3oz of Tomato Juice
1oz of Grey Goose Vodka
a dash of Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco sauce to the taste
dash of pepper and celery salt
a lemon wedge
stalk of celery

we also added some beer later to add a fizz to the drink :) Thanks Genny for your help!

Wild Life

The Row

Ever since I heard about it, I've been quite infatuated with The Row. The Row was created by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to be a luxury fashion line. With their quality fabrics and unique lines I just can't get enough of it. When their Pre-Fall 2010 collection came out I was just amazed but here are a few pieces that make me stop and stare.

Lets start with the beautiful black gladiator sandals, so cute. I love how they look like little strapped cobwebs around your feet. This coat I would pair with a great pair of boots, jeans and a fun necklace. These whimsically, fun, looking white pants have me wanting to buy them and wear them to the beach for a romantic dinner.
